Years of chasing powder led to a quiet corner of Niigata. Beyond Myoko's legendary snow lay a rare rhythm - peaceful mornings, soothing hot springs, and unhurried evenings around the dinner table. What began as a journey ended as home.

Twenty years of chasing powder led to a quiet corner of Niigata. Beyond Myoko’s legendary snow lay a rare rhythm - peaceful mornings, soothing hot springs, and unhurried evenings around the dinner table. What began as a journey ended as home.

A dream takes shape.

In 2016, Lee-san and her husband turned a snowy European-style inn into a welcoming mountain chalet. Windsor became a gathering place for travellers drawn to Myoko’s snow and their personal hospitality. When a curious traveler stopped for dinner here in 2022, one evening grew into a lasting friendship - and a reason to keep returning.

A new chapter. The same heart.

In 2026, that curious traveler became Windsor’s new owner, carrying forward the spirit Lee-san and her husband created. Today, our intimate chalet is still about the simple things: warm welcomes, good food and unhurried evenings after a day in the mountains. Whether it’s your first turns or your next powder adventure, there’s a place for you here.

World-class snow, with the comfort of home.

Come for the snow.
Stay for the feeling of home.
