Gear for your kind of mountain day
Choose Standard equipment for beginners, families and groomed runs, or Premium gear for powder and stronger riders. Escape Myoko’s fleet includes HEAD skis and Salomon, Ride, K2 and Never Summer snowboards. Standard rentals include one free equipment swap; Premium rentals include unlimited swaps. Specific models are subject to availability.
2026–2027 full-set rates: Standard ¥5,500 for 1 day / ¥30,000 for 7 days. Premium ¥7,000 for 1 day / ¥38,500 for 7 days. Boots included; ski sets also include poles. Clothing and helmets are available separately; gloves and goggles are not rented.
Collect at Akakura Kanko shop at Windsor, open daily 19 December 2026–7 March 2027, 8:00–9:30am and 4:00–7:30pm. Evening-before fitting is available. Rental Concierge delivery, fitting and collection in the main Myoko Kogen area is complimentary for rental bookings of ¥120,000 or more; confirm arrangements with Escape Myoko.

Private lessons. Personal progress.
Build confidence with qualified English-speaking instructors at Ikenotaira. Private ski and snowboard lessons cater to first-timers through advanced riders, with a maximum of six guests of similar ability per instructor. Families can learn together when ability levels are similar.
Full day: 9:00am–3:00pm, 5 hours on snow — ¥59,000. Morning half day: 9:00–11:30am — ¥35,000. Afternoon half day: 12:30–3:00pm — ¥30,000. Prices are per instructor, not per person.
Arrive 15 minutes early, dressed and ready to ride. Lift passes, equipment rental and transport are not included. Lessons are in English; mixed-ability groups may need separate instructors. Arrange rental fitting the evening before where possible.

Published rental rates require online booking at least 5 days before arrival; bookings within 5 days carry a 20% surcharge. A 2% card processing fee applies.
